DESCRIPTION:When most people think of "donating blood\," they picture the traditional whole blood donation where you give about a pint of blood. After your donation\, the blood is separated into red cells\, plasma\, and platelets\, which are sent to local hospitals for patients in need.\n\n \nREGISTER HERE\n\n\n\n\nOur community requires about 200 donors every single day to meet demand. Your donation can make a life-saving difference.\n\n\n	How Long Does It Take? From check-in to refreshments\, plan for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The actual donation itself usually takes only 15 30 minutes.\n	What to Bring: A photo ID is required to donate.\n	Donor Perk: All donors in May will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt as our thanks.\n	Appointments: Appointments are preferred to help us keep things running smoothly\, but walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
