Wise Counsel Wealth, a wealth management firm dedicated to making the complex simple for their clients through accountability, advocacy and coaching, is hosting SHREDFEST, a paper-shredding event for clients, friends, and the surrounding Austin area. The event will take place on Saturday, September 18th, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m at the Georgetown Church of Christ parking lot. (1525 W. University Ave., Georgetown, TX 78628.)

Those interested in taking advantage of this service are encouraged to bring all necessary documents to the event to be securely destroyed. The firm’s document shredding partner, Data Armor, will be on-site and available to conduct the service designed to protect individuals from identity theft by shredding any old documents that contain personal or sensitive information, including:

· Outdated tax returns

· Old account statements

· Credits cards

· And more

In addition to this service, Wise Counsel’s community event will include fabulous food, games, photos and more! The event is a fun, family friendly event bringing the community together and featuring some local businesses, including:

Ø Torchy’s Tacos, Austin’s beloved craft casual brand, will be serving its famous tacos and Green Chile Queso. The best tacos in Texas!

Ø Shave Ice Island will be there serving up shave ice and have cornhole and other games.

Ø Georgetown Animal Shelter will be there with adoptable dogs and cats celebrating Nation Clear the Shelter Day. (NBC Universal Local is teaming up with hundreds of shelters across the country to host Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive that helps find loving homes for animals in need.)

Ø Photo Booth by Freedom Flash Foto, a veteran-owned and operated company with instant digital files texted or emailed to you on the spot.

Ø DJ music by Premier Entertainment.

Ø Shredding by Data Armor, a woman-owned information security, destruction, and management company providing services, which include, secure document and data destruction (paper and hard drive destruction), secure document storage, document scanning, and recycling programs.

Clients of Wise Counsel Wealth will get tokens for complimentary food and shave Ice. All others can buy directly at the trucks.

The data shredding and photo booth are complimentary and open to the public.
